This year seems to be a great one, as MTN has started something big this year 2017, among other telcos, MTN is now the first to be giving out whooping 4GB of data to their loyal subscribers as new year gift.

From the sms they sent across to their subscribers, “to celebrate the new year, you have been credited with 4GB Free Data Valid for 7 days to be enjoyed only on 4G enabled devices.

But, from the looks of things, the free 4GB data seems not to be working for everybody, so it might not be called new year gift.
