LG has announced a record breaking achievement with the launch of world’s first flexible, transparent 77-inch organic light emitting diode (OLED) display
and took LG electronics 59 months for LG to complete this amazing project which launch augmented reality on a whole new level.
The new display from LG is capable of outputting Ultra HD visuals at a resolution of 3840-by-2160 with transparency rated at 40 percent. Coming in terms with flexibility, it can be rolled up like a tube with a radius of 80mm.
Actually, this display is impressive because it’s a 77 inches display, which i believe is taller than a grown up man with the diagonal with an aspect ratio of 16:9, that means its longest side measures 170.5 centimeters and also supports 4K output, be transparent, and very flexible just adds to what LG managed to achieve here.
This 77 inch Transparent,OLED & Flexible Display isn’t aimed at the normal home user; with this technology LG is actually looking at digital signage, smart desks, augmented reality, and even car displays as markets for this type of screen.
