Samsung has announced the IP67 waterproof Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 and A34 are the company’s newest mid-range 5G smartphones, which were just released. The A series includes the Samsung Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 smartphones. It’s worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy A54 is the smaller of the two phones.

The Galaxy A54 has a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-O display and the Exynos 1380 System-on-Chip (SoC) replaces the Exynos 1280.

The rear camera on the Samsung Galaxy A54 has been upgraded to 50 megapixels, and it still has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera; however, it lacks a depth sensor. The front camera on the Galaxy A54 is 32 megapixels.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 has a larger 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, but it retains the same 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Vision Booster features as its predecessor. However, the Samsung Galaxy A34 weighs only 199 grams and has dimensions of 161.3 by 78.1 by 8.2 millimeters.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 has a 48-megapixel main camera with an aperture of 1.8, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera with an aperture of 2.4. For the front-facing selfie camera, this one has a 13-megapixel sensor.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Samsung Galaxy A34 5G both run Android 13 with One UI 5.1, and the company promises that the phones will receive up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years’ worth of security patches over their lifetimes.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 comes in Lime, Graphite, Violet, and White color options and starts at €490 for the 6/128GB model and €490 for the 8/256GB model, which would normally cost €540. The Samsung Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 smartphones will be available for purchase in Europe and Asia beginning this month.
